I was digital nomading/living in Lima for 5 weeks in August of 2022 and here are some favorites I found there!

  1. CAFE DRAGON

🔗 wifi/internet — ~100mbps EXCELLENT (connect to the 5G)
🔌 outlets — definitely accessible
🍵coffee — amazing brunch + coffee
🖼setting — cafe by day, bar at night, very open air (ceiling that opens so can get kind of hot in the center area) but so gorgeous and definitely coworking friendly (plenty of people on computers there!)

2. Al alma restaurante

🔗 wifi/internet — ~85mbps so very excellent
🔌 outlets — some along the sides
🍵coffee — solid with brunch + food options! (Their green juice is great too!)
🖼setting — tucked between 2 other coffeeshops, it has a covered indoor patio which allows for lots of natural light to come through!

3. Clemente Café and Flowers

🔗 wifi/internet — ~320mbps AMAZING
🔌 outlets — definitely accessible
🍵coffee — delicious with really high quality food options
🖼setting — open air, balcony bar seating and conference table indoors seating with order-from-your-table service

4. Hija Mía Coffee

🔗 wifi/internet — 81mbps EXCELLENT!
🔌 outlets — they are scattered about so they aren’t accessible from every seating option… I would say ~40% of the seating options have outlets
🍵coffee — fusion brunch concept with great coffee
🖼setting — in the lobby area of a hotel, very hip / fresh / open-air concept with a semi-restaurant feel because they have waiters BUT very relaxed

5. Valentina Bakery El Tesoro

🔗 wifi/internet — ~100mbps free mall internet
🔌 outlets — all along the seats that surround the main kitchen/cafe area and along on the wall with the bar seating
🍵coffee — delicious with great dessert options and juices!
🖼setting — lots of natural light thanks to the way the mall is structured and may get a little loud depending on how busy the mall is, but over all very comfy

6. SMASH Avocaderia Laureles

🔗 wifi/internet — ~80mbps GREAT!
🔌 outlets — a few
🍵coffee — delicious and amazing healthy lunch options as well!
🖼setting — open air, clean, fresh modern (the only slightly inconvenient thing is that it’s open air to the street so it could get a little noisy and that the bathrooms are in a different store)

7. Cafe Fundación

🔗 wifi/internet — ~200mbps EXCELLENT
🔌 outlets — plenty around the wall
🍵coffee — solid mocha and iced latte
🖼setting — first cafe I’ve seen with this concept of BOTH cats and dogs (sectioned off). We picked the cat room because we thought they wouldn’t bother us but when we entered all 30 cats and a few kittens crowded us and started attacking our backpacks like toys. They were precious but it was a little hard to work. Maybe we should have picked the dog section!!

8. PERGAMINO Café Calle 10B, Medellín

🔗 wifi/internet — always excellent at Pergaminos
🔌 outlets — plenty
🍵coffee — the best in Medellín!!
🖼setting — a less popular one when compared to the other 2 which makes it way easier to find seating!

9. YOLO Coffee Shop

🔗 wifi/internet — 83mbps EXCELLENT!
🔌 outlets — I don’t remember seeing any but considering that it’s located in the lobby of a hostel, I’m sure they have them
🍵 coffee — strong iced latte
🖼 setting — beach-y open air vibe with hanging swings and welcoming atmosphere

10. Matilde coffee market

🔗 wifi/internet — 130mbps EXCELLENT!
🔌 outlets — plenty!!
🍵coffee — great lunch options (didn’t get to try the coffee)
🖼setting — garden party restaurant vibe, very chill + coworking friendly (I actually entered because there were SO many people on their laptops)
