I recently had the privilege of attending the Boss Vision Conference hosted by Dallas Girl Gang, and it was an eye-opening experience in the realm of AI Alchemy. Personally, I always feel slow on the uptake of new technology because I have yet to figure out how to effectively integrate it into my everyday workflows! Thankfully, the founder of MyCopyHero.Ai was there to help distill some of the mystery!

With the knowledge gained from the conference and the help of My Copy Hero, I’ve discovered how to use my newsletter and copywriting content to produce a brand voice guideline that resonates with my audience and sets my brand apart. In this blog post, I’ll share my key takeaways from the conference and the steps to craft a compelling brand voice guideline.

The Power of AI Alchemy

AI Alchemy is a blend of art and science, where AI is leveraged to enhance creativity and storytelling. In the AI Alchemy session, I learned how AI can assist in creating compelling and personalized content at scale (but in a more effective manner)! I heavily on copywriting and newsletter content to engage with my audience for Don’t Be Strangers, and let me tell you, writing and English were NOT my favorite subjects at school!

One of my favorite takeaways from this session was realizing the potential of AI to refine and amplify my brand’s voice. By analyzing my previous content and applying AI suggestions, I could quickly create a Brand Voice Guideline for streamling my copywriting process!

Crafting My Brand Voice Guideline

With my newfound knowledge in AI Alchemy and the support of My Copy Hero, I embarked on the journey of crafting a brand voice guideline. A brand voice guideline is essential for ensuring consistency and authenticity in your communication. It serves as a compass, guiding your content creation efforts to align with your brand’s values, mission, and personality.

Here are the steps to create your own brand voice guideline:

1. Find Your Samples

Between my newsletter and instagram captions, I was able to throw 3–5 samples into ChatGPT to analyze for my brand voice.

2. Summarize

Ask ChatGPT to create a summary of your brand voice based on the previous 3–5 samples you provided it.

Putting It All Together

All together, ChatGPT gave me my following brand voice guideline for Don’t Be Strangers, a podcast and community against adult lonleiness.

1. Friendly and Personal Tone:

Maintain a friendly and approachable tone in all brand communications.

Use emojis and informal language to create a warm and relatable atmosphere.

Prioritize personal storytelling and real-life experiences to connect with the audience.

2. Community-Oriented Messaging:

Emphasize the importance of community, connections, and inclusivity.

Showcase how the brand facilitates meaningful relationships and fosters a sense of belonging.

Encourage engagement and participation from the audience, making them feel like active members of the community.

3. Transparency and Authenticity:

Be open and transparent about the brand’s activities, updates, and experiences.

Share personal anecdotes and testimonials to reinforce the authenticity of the brand.

Build trust by openly discussing successes, challenges, and future plans.
